The Aim High Foundation

Established in 1995, the Aim High Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through sports, education, and holistic support. We combine basketball coaching, academic tutoring, mentorship, and financial assistance for educational expenses to improve academic performance, build life skills, and prepare young people for college and careers.

Our approach pairs basketball training with personalized tutoring, one-to-one mentorship, and financial support to reduce barriers to education. This integrated model promotes academic success, character development, and greater access to postsecondary opportunities.

Our Mission

We provide athletic and social programs that inspire youth to become educated, productive, and compassionate community members. Through teamwork, discipline, cooperation, goal-setting, a strong work ethic, and ethical behavior, we help young people develop the habits and mindset for long-term success.

•  Athletics as a Learning Tool: Coaches and experienced players model teamwork, resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship.
•  Academic Support: Regular tutoring and study sessions help students improve classroom performance and reach academic goals.
•  Mentorship: Caring mentors build trusting relationships that guide youth through decisions, transitions, and future planning.
•  Financial Assistance: Targeted aid covers school-related expenses to remove barriers to participation and advancement.
